Kolkata, July 3 -- Kolkata High Court on Thursday sought a report from the West Bengal Government on the three Public Interest Litigation (PIL) regarding the alleged gangrape at the South Calcutta Law college in Kasba area.
The Court also questioned why the governing body of the college was not included in the case.
Earlier on July 2, the Kolkata Police stated that the Detective department of Police force would take over the investigation in the alleged gang rape case.
This comes after a student was allegedly gang raped inside the South Calcutta Law College in Kasba area in the capital city of West Bengal on June 25.
