Rishikesh, Aug. 6 -- In the wake of a cloudburst in Uttarkashi's Dharali area, AIIMS Rishikesh has made arrangements to accommodate and treat patients affected by the incident, said AIIMS Rishikesh Director Meenu Singh on Wednesday.
Speaking to ANI, AIIMS Rishikesh Director Meenu Singh said, "This incident is heartbreaking. Many people have been affected by it. We have made beds and other arrangements for all the patients who will come to AIIMS. Our nursing staff, doctors have been informed to take care of the patients..."
A devastating cloudburst in Uttarkashi district had triggered massive flash floods and landslides, causing widespread destruction in Dharali, Sukhi Top and Harsil areas on Tuesday.
