Dehradun, Aug. 9 -- As rescue operations continue for the third day in Uttarakhand's Uttarkashi amid devastation caused by the flash floods, nearly 52 people have been shifted to the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) camp in Matli.
The officials in the Uttarakhand government told ANI that the rescue operation is continuing, and till 8 am today, 52 people have been shifted to the ITBP Matli.
The state government said that, along with rescue teams, the availability of all types of relief material is also being ensured in the disaster-affected areas of Harshil-Dharali.
Under 'Operation Dharali,' the Indian Army has been victorious in its efforts to restore mobile and internet connectivity in Uttarakhand's Harsil.
