Varanasi, June 23 -- Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami offered prayers at Kashi Vishwanath Temple in Varanasi on Sunday during his visit to the state and prayed to Baba Vishwanath for the happiness, prosperity of the people of the state.

Sharing photographs of his visit to the temple, CM in a post on X wrote, "I had the good fortune of worshipping Lord Mahadev with full rites and rituals in Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple, which is one of the 12 Jyotirlingas."

"On this occasion, I prayed to Baba Vishwanath for the happiness, prosperity and progress of all the people of the state," he added.

Later, CM also visited and worshipped at Kashi Kotwal Shri Kaal Bhairav temple.
