Dehradun, Nov. 1 -- The Igas Festival, also known as Budhi Diwali, was celebrated with great enthusiasm, devotion, and cultural pride at Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami's residence on Saturday. In the presence of Governor Lt Gen Gurmit Singh (Retd), the grand event was dedicated to the folk traditions of Devbhoomi Uttarakhand.

Extending his greetings to the people of the state, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that Igas symbolises our cultural identity, collective spirit, and deep-rooted faith.
