Islamabad, April 7 -- US Secretary of State Marco Rubio on Monday agreed to resolve the issue of US military equipment left behind in Afghanistan during the US's complete withdrawal from the Islamic State back in August 2021, after a two-decade-long war, as per a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan.

According to the statement, Rubio made the announcement during a telephonic conversation with Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar.
