Washington, March 20 -- US federal immigration authorities have detained a Georgetown University researcher studying and teaching on a student visa in Virginia in the United States, Politico reported. The detention comes amid the Trump administration's crackdown on student activists whom the government accuses of opposing US foreign policy, Politico reported, citing court papers.
