Kolkata, July 2 -- Union Minister and West Bengal BJP President Sukanta Majumdar on Wednesday arrived at the Calcutta High Court after he was detained by the police last week.
The West Bengal BJP President asserted that it is a "breach" of the fundamental rights given by the constitution, due to which he has come to the Calcutta High Court.
While speaking to the reporters, Sukanta Majumdar said that he was detained thrice at different places. The BJP MP mentioned that he was detained on June 28 due to "democratic agitation" because of which he had to stay in the Lal Bazaar police station the entire night.
