New Delhi, July 11 -- Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Friday chaired a high-level meeting with Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on the rejuvenation of the Yamuna River.

Union Ministers Manohar Lal Khattar and CR Patil along with Delhi Public Works Department (PWD) Minister, attended the meeting.

Union Home Secretary Govind Mohan and Delhi Chief Secretary Dharmendra were also present in the meeting with senior officials of the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Delhi government.

The discussion focused on coordinated efforts and action plans to restore and rejuvenate the Yamuna River, which is considered critical to the environmental and public health of Delhi.
