New Delhi, Jan. 29 -- Information Technology (IT) and Electronics industry players, just ahead of the Union Budget 2025-26, have demanded incentives for Make in India initiatives, investments in semiconductor manufacturing, funding for artificial intelligence research and developments, tax relief for tech startups, infrastructure development, skill development programs, and support for digital infrastructure, among others.

Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present the budget on February 1 in the parliament.

Kapal Suresh Pansari, Managing Director of RP Tech, expressed his optimism and said that the budget will pave the way for sustainable growth and new opportunities in the sector.
