Geneva, Sept. 24 -- At the 60th session of the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC), the CEO of ECO FAWN Society, Sai Sampath Mettu, urged the UNHRC to take immediate and decisive action against invasive alien weeds, which are increasingly threatening agriculture, ecosystems, and the livelihoods of rural communities worldwide.
The appeal was made during an oral intervention delivered at the UNHRC session under the agenda "Interactive Dialogue with the Working Group on the Rights of Peasants."
