Moscow, July 24 -- United Nations (UN) Secretary-General Antonio Guterres expressed his condolences over the crash of the AN-24 aircraft in the Amur region. This was announced on July 24 at a briefing by the deputy official representative of the head of the world organisation, Farhan Haq.

"We express our condolences to the families of the victims of the plane crash," said Haq, whose speech was broadcast on the UN YouTube channel.

He added that Guterres expressed his condolences to the people and government of Russia.
