Madurai, Aug. 21 -- Actor-politician Vijay is set to embark upon the party Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam's (TVK) second state conference in Madurai today, where a massive show of strength is expected, ahead of the Tamil Nadu Assembly polls.

TVK party workers are reaching in huge numbers to attend the TVK conference, which is scheduled to take place in Madurai this evening.

TVK will be contesting the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections for the first time. The state elections are scheduled to be held in 2026.

Earlier on August 13, the party president Vijay launched 'Now TVK '- an exclusive application for the party membership drive.
