New Delhi, Feb. 20 -- Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha lauded the Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) return to power in Delhi after nearly three decades as he attended the swearing-in ceremony of newly elected Chief Minister of Delhi, Rekha Gupta, on Thursday.

Taking to social media platform X after the event, CM Saha called it a "historic occasion" and extended his wishes to the newly appointed Delhi government.

"Witnessed history in the making at Smt. @gupta_rekha Ji's oath-taking ceremony. After 27 years, BJP is back in Delhi. Congratulations to the new Team Delhi. Wishing them all the best in taking Delhi to new heights under PM @narendramodi Ji's visionary leadership," he wrote in a post.
