New Delhi, April 24 -- In the aftermath of Tuesday's terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir's Pahalgam, which claimed 26 innocent lives, the Ministry of Tourism on Wednesday issued a statement to all tourism-related service providers requesting to offer assistance to affected tourists stranded in the Union Territory for their safe return.

In the letter, V Vidyavathi, Secretary, Ministry of Tourism, also called for the waiver of cancellation fees for tourists, emphasising the importance of supporting visitors during this tragic period.
