London, June 13 -- Tottenham Hotspur have identified Ange Postecoglou's successor and appointed Thomas Frank as their new head coach on a contract until 2028.
Thomas has left Brentford after spending seven impressive years in charge and leading the club to new heights. Tottenham sacked Postecoglou despite ending their 17-year trophy drought by steering them to a historic Europa League triumph.
"In Thomas we are appointing one of the most progressive and innovative head coaches within the game. He has a proven track record in player and squad development, and we look forward to him leading the team as we prepare for the season ahead," Tottenham said in a statement.
