Karur, Sept. 28 -- Tamil Nadu Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin chaired a high-level review meeting at the auditorium of the Government Medical College Hospital on Sunday in the wake of the stampede incident during actor Vijay's public rally in Karur.

The meeting was held to assess the ongoing medical treatment and assistance being provided to those injured in the stampede, and to discuss further measures required.

Udhayanidhi visited the hospital to pay homage to those who lost their lives in the tragic stampede during the Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam's political campaign in Karur and met the victims who are under treatment at the hospital.

He placed floral tributes to the bodies of the victims and consoled their grieving families....
