Ranchi, Aug. 5 -- Trinamool Congress (TMC) MP Shatabdi Roy on Tuesday arrived in Ranchi to attend the last rites of former Jharkhand Chief Minister and Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) founder Shibu Soren. Roy said that Soren was among the few leaders who left a lasting impression on the lives of people.
Speaking to ANI, Roy said she had come on behalf of West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and senior party leader Derek O'Brien to pay her respects.
"On behalf of the AITC, Mamata Banerjee has sent me from the Lok Sabha and Derek O'Brien from the Rajya Sabha to pay tributes to Shibu Soren. His name will go down in history. Many leaders come and go, but only some leave a mark on people's lives. Shibu Soren was one of them..." she said....
