Jaisalmer, May 3 -- As tensions escalate along the India-Pakistan border after the horrific terror attack in Pahalgam, residents of Tanot village in Rajasthan's Jaisalmer, located just 20 kilometres from the Line of Control (LoC), are expressing both concern and resilience.

Basru Ram, a long-time resident of Tanot, recalled the days of the 1965 war and said that he has lived in the region for 50 years but even today, the government has not provided much support to the citizens residing in the region.

"I've lived here for 50 years. We had to leave for Ramgarh during the war but returned. Even now, the government hasn't provided much support. In Pahalgam, innocent people are being killed -- even BSF jawans are not spared. Pakistan refuses...
