Nalgonda, Feb. 7 -- Declaring that the Nalgonda Municipal Corporation has remained a traditional bastion of the Congress, Roads and Buildings and Cinematography Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy on Saturday appealed to voters to deliver a historic verdict in the February 11 civic elections by electing Congress candidates with an overwhelming majority in all 48 divisions.
Campaigning across Divisions 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 25, the Minister Komatireddy said development works worth Rs 2,200 crore were underway in the municipal corporation and asserted that sustained growth was possible only if candidates of the ruling Congress party were elected.
