Patna, Aug. 31 -- Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav on Sunday expressed concern over Bihar's lack of development, saying it pains him to see the state still lagging behind others in terms of growth and employment.

The RJD leader also urged that he should be given a chance to work for Bihar's progress.

"I am a Bihari. It pains me that Bihar is not among the top states. Why are there no factories, no industries, and no businesses here? Why is Bihar the poorest? Why is unemployment the highest here? I just want a chance to work towards taking Bihar forward," he said while addressing the public at an event in Patna.
