Kolkata, Dec. 21 -- West Bengal Governor C.V. Ananda Bose stated that the 25K Marathon in Kolkata held on Sunday was an excellent opportunity for Indian athletes.

The Governor noted that these opportunities allow young people to showcase their talent to the world.

"It's a great opportunity to match the best in the world and improve ourselves every moment.", he said.

"The Indian youth is world-class. The day is not far when India will be towering over the others in the field of sports as well.", said the Governor.
