Chennai, March 27 -- The Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly has passed the resolution against the Waqf Amendment Bill 2024 moved by Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Bharatiya Janata Party MLA Vanathi Srinivasan opposed the resolution moved by CM Stalin against the Waqf Amendment Bill 2024 in the Assembly and said that the central government has the authority to bring the amendments.
