Taipei, Oct. 22 -- Taiwan's Ministry of National Defence (MND) detected the presence of two sorties by Chinese military aircraft, four naval vessels operating and one official ship around its territorial waters as of 6 am (local time) on Wednesday.
As per the MND, both sorties crossed the median line and entered Taiwan's northern Air Defence Identification Zone (ADIZ).
In a post on X, MND said, "2 PLA aircraft, 4 PLAN vessels and 1 official ship operating around Taiwan were detected up until 6 a.m. (UTC+8) today. 2 out of 2 sorties crossed the median line and entered Taiwan's northern ADIZ. We have monitored the situation and responded accordingly."
