Taipei, Feb. 15 -- Taiwan's Ministry of National Defence detected the presence of eleven Chinese military aircraft and eight naval vessels around its territory as of 6 am (local time) on Sunday.

Nine of eleven sorties crossed the median line and entered Taiwan's northern and southwestern Air Defence Identification Zone (ADIZ).

In a post on X, the MND said, "Eleven sorties of PLA aircraft and eight PLAN vessels operating around Taiwan were detected up until 6 am (UTC+8) today. Nine out of 11 sorties crossed the median line and entered Taiwan's northern and southwestern ADIZ. We have monitored the situation and responded."
