Mandya, Aug. 2 -- Responding to the conviction of expelled JD(S) leader and former Lok Sabha MP Prajwal Revanna in a rape case, BJP leader Sumalatha Ambareesh on Friday said that there was nothing more to comment on the matter after the court's decision.

Speaking to reporters, Sumalatha said, "The court has pronounced the verdict. Everyone should obey the court order. I have nothing more to comment on this matter. There is nothing to talk about after the court gave its verdict. Let's see what the punishment will be."

The court will announce the punishment on Saturday.
