New Delhi, Aug. 20 -- Intermediate Range Ballistic Missile 'Agni 5' was successfully test-fired from the Integrated Test Range, Chandipur in Odisha on Wednesday, according to an official statement from Ministry of Defence.

The launch validated all operational and technical parameters. It was carried out under the aegis of the Strategic Forces Command.

Earlier on July 18, India successfully test-fired Short-Range Ballistic Missiles (SRBM), Prithvi-II and Agni-I, from the Integrated Test Range in Odisha's Chandipur, the Ministry of Defence said in an official statement.

The launches took place on Thursday, during which all operational and technical parameters were validated.
