Chandigarh, May 10 -- The first meeting of the State Civil Advisory and Implementation Committee was convened here today under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary Anurag Rastogi, who also serves as the Committee Chairperson.

The meeting was aimed at ensuring that Civil Defence mechanisms are robust and well-coordinated to protect people, property, and essential services in times of emergencies, particularly during hostile attacks or disasters.

Presiding over the meeting, Chief Secretary Rastogi instructed all administrative secretaries to immediately recall officers and officials currently on leave.
