Pune, Dec. 17 -- Vijay Diwas 2025 was commemorated with customary military solemnity and dignity at the Southern Command War Memorial, Pune, on December 16, marking 54 years of India's decisive victory in the 1971 Indo-Pakistan War.
Lieutenant General Dhiraj Seth, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Southern Command, led the observance in the presence of serving personnel and veterans of the Indian Army, Indian Air Force, and Indian Navy.
