Hyderabad, Oct. 6 -- A major accident took place on the Outer Ring Road (ORR) near Hayath Sagar in the Rajendra Nagar police station limits in Hyderabad. Luckily, no casualties were reported, but the vehicles sustained significant damage.

A police official stated, "A six-car pileup occurred on the Outer Ring Road (ORR) near Hayath Sagar this evening, resulting in damage to the vehicles. Fortunately, there were no casualties. A case has been registered under Section 281."

The crash triggered a 2km traffic jam. All the passengers came out uninjured, as the airbags had deployed. The Vijayawada-Hyderabad highway also witnessed heavy congestion as people returned from Dusshera celebrations.
