Kartarpur, Nov. 9 -- : Former Punjab Minister and Congress leader Navjot Singh Sidhu on Saturday thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the Kartarpur Corridor and also lauded role of Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan saying it is the first time since partition that boundaries have been dismantled.

"It is the first time since partition that the boundaries have been dismantled. No one can deny my friend Imran Khan's contribution. I thank Modiji also for it," he said, addressing the inaugural ceremony of Kartarpur Corridor in Pakistan.

Sidhu said his political differences with the prime minister did not matter and he was sending him a "Munnabhai MBBS-style hug".
