Mumbai, March 4 -- The Shiv Sena (UBT) on Tuesday recommended the name of the party's MLA Bhaskar Jadhav to the Speaker of the Assembly, Rahul Narvekar, for the Leader of Opposition.

"Shiv Sena (UBT) has claimed the post of LOP. We have given the name of Bhaskar Jadhav," Uddhav Thackeray told reporters.

Uddhav Thackeray has written a letter to the Speaker of the Assembly, Rahul Narvekar and recommended the name of Bhaskar Jadhav for the Leader of Opposition.

Reacting to Dhanajay Munde's resignation as Maharashtra Minister, Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Uddhav Thackeray said, "What is the reason? Dhananjay Munde cites health reasons, but Ajit Pawar says his resignation was on moral grounds."
