Kozhikode, Oct. 14 -- Senior Congress leader and Kerala Leader of Opposition (LoP) VD Satheesan has strongly condemned the alleged attack on party MP Shafi Parambil, claiming that the latter was "beaten up by the police" without any provocation.

Warning to agitate, Satheesan demanded that action be taken against the concerned police officers involved in the alleged attack against the Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) working president.
