Dehradun, Dec. 23 -- The State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) unit of the Uttarakhand Police has earned international recognition for its exemplary work in disaster management and rescue operations.

Under the leadership of Commandant SDRF Arpan Yaduvanshi, the SDRF has brought pride to the state and the Uttarakhand Police worldwide through its courageous, swift, and humane rescue missions.

According to a release, the U.S. Embassy honoured SDRF Uttarakhand Police with a memento and a certificate of appreciation in recognition of these efforts.
