New Delhi, Nov. 12 -- The Supreme Court has ordered the release of Advocate Vikram Singh, who was arrested by the Haryana Police's Special Task Force (STF), Gurugram, for his alleged involvement in the criminal activities of his clients.
The arrest was reportedly based on disclosure statements made by accused persons in ongoing criminal cases.
A Bench led by Chief Justice of India BR Gavai granted interim protection to Advocate Singh, directing that he be released from custody immediately after furnishing bail bonds of Rs 10,000.
