Patna, Oct. 17 -- Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) MLA and candidate from the Danapur assembly constituency, Ritlal Yadav, who is currently lodged in jail, arrived in a jail van on Thursday to file his nomination papers.

Speaking to reporters on Thursday, Ritlal Yadav said, "...The people of Danapur are with me. The public understands that I have been deliberately framed. But I have full faith in the court and I will get justice..."

The NDA has fielded former MP Ramkripal Yadav from the Danapur seat.

Meanwhile, in another development ahead of the Bihar Assembly elections, Bhojpuri actor and singer Khesari Lal Yadav, along with his wife Chanda Devi, joined the RJD on Thursday.
