New Delhi, Feb. 13 -- The Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) MPs held a protest on Parliament premises on Friday, demanding that Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Prime Minister Narendra Modi resign and urging the Centre to enhance the quota for political minorities and OBCs in the reservation policy.

The protesters are demanding 65% reservation for scheduled castes, scheduled tribes, Other Backward Classes (OBCs), and Extremely Backward Classes (EBCs), and placing it in the Ninth Schedule of the Constitution.

Congress MP Rajeev Shukla also joined the RJD MPs during the protest.
