Jaipur, Oct. 6 -- Rajasthan Minister Jawahar Singh Bedham on Monday slammed the Congress party and called it 'insensitive' in its response to the fire incident that broke out in Jaipur's Sawai Man Singh hospital's ICU, killing six people.

Speaking to reporters here, Bedham said, "The Congress party has become insensitive...We visited the hospital as soon as we received the information regarding the fire incident. We have taken stock of the situation. We met the families of the victims. This is a very sad incident..."

Meanwhile, Rajasthan Director General of Police (DGP) Rajiv Kumar Sharma stated that the police would investigate the "root cause" of the fire incident.
