Mohali, Oct. 21 -- Punjab FC on Tuesday announced the signing of Samir Zeljkovic, who will be the Shers' first overseas signing ahead of the All India Football Federation (AIFF) Super Cup 2025, starting October 25 in Goa.

Zeljkovic has been signed on a free transfer and penned a one-year contract with the club, after spending the last season with Radnicki 1923 in Serbia, as per a press release from Punjab FC.

A Bosnia & Herzegovina international, Zelijkovic has the ability to play either as a centre back or a defensive midfielder and has experience playing in European leagues, playing in the 2025-26 UEFA Conference League qualifiers for his last club, Radnicki 1923.
