Chandigarh, Jan. 5 -- The Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the 328 missing 'Saroops' case has arrested two persons and conducted search operations at 14 locations across Punjab and Chandigarh, seizing electronic devices and incriminating financial records, officials said on Saturday.
According to an SIT spokesperson, during the searches, the SIT seized seven mobile phones, three tablets, two laptops, one storage device, along with incriminating financial records and documents. The seized electronic devices will undergo forensic analysis.
The spokesperson added that the seized financial documents are under scrutiny, as payments made by companies associated with several individuals, including politicians, are being examined.
