Hoshiarpur, Jan. 10 -- In a fatal accident, four people were killed after a car collided with a bus in Hoshiarpur, Punjab, police said on Saturday.

The incident occurred at 5 am on Saturday due to fog-related poor visibility.

Assistant-Sub Inspector (ASI) Anil Kumar told ANI, "The people in the car were on the way to Amritsar, and the bus was departing from Hoshiarpur... The incident happened at around 5 am," he said.

"All victims died on the spot, and their are kept in the civil hospital," he added.

Further investigation is underway.
