Patna, Feb. 9 -- Reflecting on the mandate of the Delhi assembly elections results, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav said that the public is the master in a democracy and affirmed hope that the Bharatiya Janata Party is able to fulfil the promises it made.

Former Bihar Deputy Chief Minsiter said, "In a democracy, the public is the master. I hope that the BJP will fulfil its promises that they made..."

As the polls would be due in Bihar in the last months of the year, Yadav on being asked if Delhi's result will have an effect on Bihar elections, said, "Bihar is Bihar - they (BJP) will have to understand this."
