Canacona, Nov. 28 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday unveiled the 77-feet-tall bronze statue of Lord Rama at Shree Samsthan Gokarn Partagali Jeevottam Math in Canacona, South Goa.

The Prime Minister will later participate in the 'Sardha Panchashatamanotsava', which is the 550th-year celebration of the Shree Samsthan Gokarn Partagali Jeevottam Math.

The Prime Minister also inaugurated the 'Ramayana Theme Park' developed by the Math. He released the special postal stamp and a commemorative coin.

Earlier in the day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a roadshow in Karnataka's Udupi after participating in the Laksha Kantha Gita Parayana programme at the Sri Krishna Matha.
