New Delhi, Oct. 2 -- Dharambir was the biggest medal winner for India at the New Delhi 2025 World Para Athletics Championships at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium on Thursday as he bagged a silver in the men's club throw F51, a category deemed the severest in para games under "impaired muscle power."

The 36-year-old gold medallist in the 2024 Paris Paralympics achieved his best throw (29.71m) in his sixth and final attempt. "I am happy with my performance. To be on the podium on your home turf is special. Yes, gold would have been better, but I am still happy," Target Olympic Podium Scheme (TOPS) athlete Dharambir said as quoted from a press release by PCI.
