Coimbatore (Tamil Nadu), March 21 -- : The Crime Branch-CID of the Tamil Nadu police, probing the Pollachi sexual assault case, has summoned Congress leader Mayura Jayakumar, asking him to appear before March 25.
"Yesterday, I received a summon from the CB-CID to be present before March 25. I was told that during the incident, Tirunavukkarasu (an accused in the case) had said he was not in Pollachi and had come to Coimbatore with his father and greeted me at the Congress district office," Jayakumar told ANI.
