Chennai, April 29 -- Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) MP Kanimozhi Karunanidhi on Tuesday expressed deep concern over the alleged "politicisation" of the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, warning that such actions pose a risk to national security.

Addressing an event focused on startups, the parliamentarian urged the central government to accept its shortcomings and take corrective measures instead of diverting attention from critical issues.

"The terrorist attack has affected everyone to a great extent. It is a very sad incident. We are witnessing an environment where it is being politicised. The union government is creating an environment where it is dangerous to turn this into a different direction," she said.
