New Delhi, April 5 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Tamil Nadu on April 6, where, on the occasion of Ram Navami, he will inaugurate the new Pamban Rail Bridge--India's first vertical lift sea bridge--flag off a train and a ship from the adjacent road bridge, and witness the bridge's operational demonstration.

According to an official release, thereafter, at around 12:45 PM, PM Modi will perform darshan and pooja at the Ramanathaswamy temple at Rameswaram. At around 1:30 PM in Rameswaram, he will lay the foundation stone and dedicate various rail and road projects worth over Rs 8,300 crore to the nation in Tamil Nadu.
