Jeddah, April 22 -- In view of the terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir's Pahalgam, Prime Minister Narendra Modi cut short his State visit to Saudi Arabia and departed from Jeddah to India on Wednesday.

PM Modi skipped the official dinner hosted by Saudi Arabia and decided to cut short his visit, according to Government of India sources. While he was originally scheduled to return tomorrow night, he will now arrive in India early Wednesday morning.

In a post on X, Ministry of External Affairs official spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal stated, "PM @narendramodi concludes his State Visit to Saudi Arabia and has emplaned for India."
