Lucknow, Feb. 9 -- Bharatiya Janata Party Anurag Thakur on Sunday attributed his party's victory in the Delhi Assembly election to the people's trust in Prime Minister Narendra Modi's guarantees and party's good governance welfare model.

"We have won in Delhi. I express my gratitude to the people of Delhi. This is BJP's good governance welfare model. People trust PM Modi's guarantees," Thakur told reporters here.

"Prime Minister Modi had promised the people of Delhi that he will put Delhi on the track of development and we will make Delhi a well-developed city," he added.

Delhi Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena has dissolved the Seventh Legislative Assembly of the National Capital Territory of Delhi with effect from today.
