Adelaide, Dec. 20 -- Australian skipper Pat Cummins overtook legendary pacer Mitchell Johnson to become his country's sixth-highest wicket-taker in Test cricket.
Cummins gained this upward movement in the charts during his side's third Ashes Test against England at Adelaide Oval. During the first innings, he took 3/69 and derailed England's progress on numerous occasions, with wickets of Zak Crawley, Joe Root and Jamie Smith. He followed this with another three-wicket haul to end the day, getting wickets of Ben Duckett, Ollie Pope and Joe Root, ending the day with figures of 3/24 in 10 overs, leaving England in disarray while chasing 435 runs.
